PanelDrill scores the answer, not the person. Nothing in a report describes you, your character, or your chances. Every score points at a specific sentence you said or a specific thing the transcript is missing, and the wording of the rubric is the same for everyone.
PanelDrill does not analyze your tone of voice, your emotion, your accent, or your stress level, and it does not create a voiceprint. Those measurements are not in the product and are not planned.
How the number is produced: each dimension is scored 1 to 5 against written anchors. The scoring model runs the same transcript three separate times and we keep the median of the three, so repeat runs of the same answer land on the same number more often. That is reproducibility, not accuracy — a score is not a prediction of how any real board would rate you.
Three panelists, three distinct synthetic voices, three fixed roles: a Chair who runs the board and keeps time, an HR panelist who asks about process, documentation and people, and a Community panelist who asks about the effect on residents and trust. They are AI. They are not recordings of real examiners, not modeled on any real person, and the names on screen are role labels, not people.
After each answer, the next question is generated from your transcript — the words you actually used. Name three priorities and handle two, and the follow-up is about the third. Say “I'd notify my chain of command”, and the follow-up asks when, and what you say in that call.
Your microphone streams to a speech-to-text service while you talk. The text comes back with timestamps. The audio itself is not written to our storage and is not kept after the drill. What persists in your account is the transcript, the scores and the report — and you can delete any of it at any time.

Most boards run 10 to 20 minutes end to end, and each board shows its expected length before you start. The report comes back in about a minute.
Your microphone audio is transcribed as you speak and is not stored by us afterwards. What stays in your account is the text transcript, the scores and the report — and you can delete those yourself at any time. We do not create a voiceprint, do not analyze tone or emotion, and do not use your transcripts to train AI models.
Any working mic — a laptop's built-in mic is enough to start. Wired earbuds give the cleanest transcript. There is a mic check before every board.
Yes — but open it in Safari or Chrome, not inside the Facebook or Instagram browser. Those in-app browsers block microphone access on iPhone, so a board cannot start there. Tap the “···” menu and choose “Open in Safari/Chrome”. Use earbuds; speakerphone in a car will not transcribe well.
Write to support@paneldrill.com and we extend your access window once, by up to 30 days, at no cost. Departments move dates; that shouldn't cost you a pass you already bought.
Yes, within 7 days of the day your access opens, if you have used no more than 2 boards. Email support@paneldrill.com with your order email and we refund the full purchase price to the original payment method. After 7 days, or after 3 or more boards, the sale is final. The Agency Brief is refundable only if the brief has not yet been delivered.

Yes, completely, and we say so on purpose. The panelists are AI voices reading AI-generated questions. The scoring is done by an AI model against the rubric printed on this page. There is no human examiner reviewing your answers, and a PanelDrill score is not a professional evaluation of your readiness.
No. Both passes are a single one-time payment. There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal and no free trial that converts into anything.
Each pass is for one person — minutes and boards are tied to one account. If two of you want to practice, buy two passes.
If you can't get a usable transcript in your first two boards and support can't fix it with you, we refund you in full even outside the normal window. Tell us what device and browser you used.
Your transcripts and reports stay in your account while your access window runs, and you can delete any of them at any moment. After your window ends you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. What we have to keep is the payment record, because tax law requires it.
